This was a pictorial representation of the continual flows and the harmony required to gain a balanced life. It is believed he did it in this way to remind people that they needed to be constantly aware that balance is perpetual and that it cannot be taken for granted. His work is intricate in its detail, beautiful in its sincerity, simple in its message and culminates with the balanced perfection - Ying and Yang.
